I often need to rename files, and do so by right-clicking the file then selecting Rename. Unfortunately Delete is just above Rename and, from time to time, I will accidently delete the file I wanted to rename. Luckily I can recover the file through the Recycle Bin so it is more of an irritation than anything else.
It would be great if a separator could be introduced between the Delete and Rename menu items to make it a bit more difficult to click Delete by mistake.
Cheers,
Brett
Separator between right-click menu Delete/Rename items
Re: Separator between right-click menu Delete/Rename items
Hi,
The context menu you get is composed by windows, not Salamander (you get the same in Windows Explorer)
Why don't you use F2?
Other options are:
- click on the already selected file name
- Main menu (also using acceleration keys)
- the symbol on any suitable toolbar (e.g. the middle toolbar)

Just shows you how long ago I actually used Explorer. Thanks for the info.
