Been trying to get a listing of all the files and directories within a directory as a text file but have only been able to paste one filename at a time into WordPad..Anyone help

Try:
1) Edit / Advanced / Save Selection... or
2) Commands / Make File List...

I think "Commands > Make File List" (CTRL+M) with the option "Destination > File" is the appropriate command
