Salamander 2.52 crash while extracting RAR file

I proceeded to extract a file tonight with from RARs which were password protected. I double clicked on one of the files and was able to see the contents. I then selected the file I wanted to extract and then proceeded to copy to a selected folder. The folder already had an existing file of the same name in it, not sure if that matters. After selecting copy, I was prompted for a password. I pasted the password from clipboard and selected OK. Application crashed and I selected to terminate. I performed the same operation again with Salamander v2.51 and I again was asked for password, pasted from clipboard and proceeded without any problem.

Is it a solid archive? We have identified a long-lasting problem with unpacking solid password-protected RAR files that causes immediate crashes only in Salamander 2.52. It has been fixed for the next version of Salamander.

No, there are about 40 or so files which make up the archive.

A "solid" archive may contain more then one file.
A solid archive is a RAR archive packed by a special compression method, which treats all files, within the archive, as one continuous data stream. ...
Ah, so it is the actual (attempt to) copy the file out from the password protected solid archive where the crash occurs. A simple view (F3) does not crash.

Yes, see Solid compression on Wikipedia.

Apparently the same problem, it got solved by the fixed unRar plugin, as confirmed by vld privately.
