Hi

I would like to add a viewer for Office 2007 formats.
Any ideas?

Universal Viewer says ... # MS Office: all file types of MS Office (if installed): DOC DOCX XLS PPT....

Maybe that will do what you need.

I have Universal Viewer, but no Office, so can't test it myself.


Probably not what you would want, but ... Office 2007.wlx plugin allows to view Microsoft Office 2007 files (DOCX, PPSX, PPTX, XLSX) as plain text in lister window.


(Separately, should you need to open DOCX & the like in older versions of Office, this should help, Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats <FileFormatConverters.exe>)

Even if thats not what I want ... it would be a good start to be able view at least text of the documents.
However, this plugin is for TotalCommander. How do I use it with Salamander?

I tested it that way and it works ok (relevant "how to use" instructions are in the tcproxy's readme.txt).
