"command -> making file list "is ok but not quite versatile
need to generate directory list and file list, but i can only make list of selections

There is a way how to get that list - using searching feature and prepared item in user menu to export results of searching into one file. Check out this thread: File list export from Find Files & Directories where is described how to do that.
