I have just had two inexplicable crashes (XP sp3) when going thrugh snapshots in Pictview. 20Mb or so files for each picture. First a message "out of memory" (with 2 G that sounds improbable), then Salamander, or at least Pictview is stuck frozen. Killing the pocesses frees up the machine, but no automatic bug report prompt.

I havent had time to go through the log files, and I fully expect the XPsp3 to be buggy -in the best tradition of a regrettably unavoidable OS, but usually salamander catches the bug. Hasnt happened again, but I havent been strainig to reproduce the exact conditions.

Ideas?

Hi Paul, are you using AS 2.51? The bug reporting subsystem was improved there.

Despite it, there is always option the exception will not be handled properly due to destroyed memory.
