FTP-Client: Display name.ext also on MVS

Dear all,

please give us the chance to change the MVS display of PS names (no mix up with members in PO data sets) like on e.g. UNIX-servers with the last two name parts (name.extension). In the comparison below are the (bad) left MVS and (good) right UNIX display and the example of an other program which displays PS data sets in a better way.

Thanks a lot!

We have no MVS system accessible to test our FTP client on it. So please try to go to the same path in both FTP clients to compare their results. It means go up one level (double click on "..") in Salamander to path "ftp://ESSEF2@mvs2/'ESSEF2.'". Please post snapshot how it looks on this path. Your last snapshot is from "ftp://ESSEF2@mvs2/'ESSEF2.SEL.'", so I believe it's the reason why "SEL." is missing in all displayed names.

Hello Petr,

thanks for your interest! I've tried to modify the FTP Configuration in Plugins Manager and had inserted an 'ext' identifier as you can see in my first snapshot, but all my attempts have no effect. With WinSCP I cannot connect at the moment. In the past there was the same behavior.

Thank you very much!
