Use case:

You have a directory structure like the following:

A > B > C > D > E

And only inside E you have files.

It would be nice to click something and go directly to E as it's the first dir in the hierarchy to store some files.

This doesn't make sense. Why? Did you think about, how it should be implemented? What if dir E is a symlink to some slow location. What if contains thousands of hundreds directories and only in one is a file?

No this doesn't look like well designed feature (request).

I agree with Jiri that I don't see a need for this as a feature.

It would seem that you could accomplish what you wish to do with a "Hot Path" - it would be available with a hot key and also from the change drive menu.
