I use the FTP-cilent for copying very large files and a audible notification when copying finishes, would be practical.

Either a hardcoded "Boing!" or a selectable wave-file.

Configuration > General > Use speaker beep to announce finishing of work in inactive window

Note: I don't know whether it work also for FTP client.

@cincura.net] I tried it in my AS and it beeps and I have the option enabled, so that's probably it.
