Hi,

i've been using Salamander 1.52 for multiple years and now i wanted to see, what the current version can offer to me. But there are two questions that I have:

1. Is it still possible to change the current drive by using a shortcut like Strg+C for drive C:\, Strg+D for drive D:\ and so on?

2. I have a few files/folders with japanese names. In the explorer I can open them without any problems but when I try to access them using Salamander, then I get an error(123). Is there any way to fix this? It didn't work in 1.52 and this error was the reason for me to download 2.5.

1. Use Shift+C, Shift+D.. instead of Ctrl+C... (Umschalt bzw Groß statt Strg)

2. Those folders probably use Unicode names. Unicode is not yet supported by AS, but it is on Altap's roadmap. Please be patient.

Thank you for your answer.

I will go on using 1.52 until there is a version with support for Unicode. ;)

You should go for the 2.5 version...
AFAIK the upgrade will be free for existing users.
