is it possible to use environment variables in Hot Paths?
e.g.
$USERPROFILE\My Documents

instead of
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents

I would also love to be able to do a change directory to a environment variable, such as %temp%

:)

I'd like it too, but I think it's already implemented in AS 2.51.*

Look at http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?t=365 (in Czech).

edit] Oh, that doesn't include Hot Paths? So, +1 stays, the rest is probably not true.

But seeing how long this has been requested, looks like I need to create a workaround

$(WinDir), $(SysDir), $(SalDir), $[EnvironmentVariable] variables will be supported in Hot Paths from AS 2.52.
Thank you for your ideas!

Is it possible to integrate a help function and a link to the help file for these environment variables. Not everybody knows the environment variables. (for example: %PROGRAMFILES%, %COMSPEC%, %SystemRoot% ...)
