i guess your programs work if thousands of people are using it.

But you should have declared up front that only experts should try.

I tried recovering stuff with your program and found it totally impossible, and I have been recovering stuff with other programs I'm just looking for one good program.

You should know that Altap Salamander is a file manager and not a file recovery tool. Don't expect from Salamander to do the job of a highly specialised tool like Ontrack's EasyRecovery Professional.

On some conditions even such tools can't help you.

First of all it's not a recovery tool but a file manager like SelfMan said. It contains a plugin which can recover deleted files if it's still possible to get them back.

Secondly it's described in the help file how to use the undelete plugin and what the limitations are. You can't compare this plugin with a professional recovery tool.

hey thanks for the responses. I didn't know that part about the file management ~ main function of the program.
