Manage "Find Files and Directories" doesn't work

When I open the Settings Manager in the Find Dialog and press
'Options->Manage', I can edit the current settings, but when I close the dialog, the changes are not saved.

In the listbox is the new path, but below in the 'Look in'-Label there's still the old path.

I think this is a bug.

Thanks
Eric

Why do you think there is a connection between the options in the find dialog and the settings in the Settings Manager? Neither is one documented nor anything in the GUI would hint at something like this. Option settings are just copied over and the relationship is broken immediately. You might consider this a design flaw, but it is certainly not a bug.

I personaly do not use this predefined settings feature at all, never new it is there, never looked for it, newer missed it.

You can only manage settings there, not edit fields Named, Look in, etc.

Ok, and why I can change the lines in the list box?
Shouldn't reflect the fields the changement in the list box, or if not disable the edit button?

Look at the video to see what I mean (Open the Settings Manager, change the line of an existing, close it and select it).

Thanks

I'm only talking about the Settings Manager for the 'Find'-Dialog and his behavior if you change an existing in the Settings Manager (Look at the video).

BTW: I use often the "predefined Find"

Settings of a preset in Settings Manager cannot be edited. When you use the 'Add Current' function, the settings (not just 'Named' and 'Look in', but also 'Advanced' and the others) are copied and that's all.

In the video, you are editing the name of the preset, not the settings itself.

If you want to edit a preset, you have to load (activate) it, then edit the settings fields you want and then add it as a preset again. Then you'll probably want to remove the old preset in Settings Manager.

@ALTAP Team] Maybe you can implement editing of presets? [imho] it would be sufficient creating an option to replace a preset.

I see what you mean, but it's was confusing for me, because the preset was named like the settings.
