Hi Guys,

First time here. I have been using salamander for about 2 weeks and I think it is great. The reson for my post is I don't know where to find a couple of features. Where you have the drive icons, how do I add an icon for the desktop folder, My Favourites, My documents etc. Also can a directory tree be printed out.

I believe you're looking for these thingies:

drive bar] Options->Show->Two Drive Bars

desktop, favorites] Options->Configuration...->Hot Paths
You can create a Hot Path to any directory you want. If you want to know, where these directories are, use Start->Run and enter '%USERPROFILE%', without the apostrophes, with the percent marks. That will lead you to your profile directory. There you'll find what you want. (Maybe you'll need to activate displaying of hidden and system files.)

documents] Change Drive->My Documents
However, it's in the Drive Bar, too.

tree] Unfortunately, there isn't a tree view or list yet, if I recall correctly.

If you really need only to print out a directory tree, then menu "Commands->Make file list" may help you. But if you want to see it in the panel, then, as Ether already said, it's not possible at the moment.
