Altap Salamander Support Forums

I've witnessed multiple times in Task Manager that Salamander's process doesn't exit upon closing its window on Windows Vista. I don't know if it's Vista's problem or Salamander's because I've also seen this with Notepad and Windows Media player (the player even continued playing while the window was gone ). I haven't seen this with other applications.

It does NOT happen every time.

I saw this too (Vista 64 bit, Windows Media Player).

I am using the 32 bit version.

Do you have an idea why this happens? Does an app have to be designed with something in mind to avoid this?
