user definable keyboard shortcuts

will this ever be possible?
i prefer to CTRL-PageUp/CTRL-PageDown to move between panes, tab is clunky to me (looking for consistency between my file browser and text editor, doing web dev).

CTRL+PgUp / CTRL+PgDn is usually used to switch tabs, not panels. Tab browsing is on the todo list.
I know, you asked for configurable keys, not a different standard assignement.
I don't think I would use that feature extensively, shoud it get implemented. On the other hand, it would not interfere with anyone who does not use it. So I'm indifferent about this.
On the other hand, I'd really liked to be able to assigne accelerator keys to the alternate viewer / editor / user menu items. The ones that get assigned automatically are frequently counterintuitive to me.
