Is it possible to add an option to keep the old l&f of the bottom bar?
It is generally a good idea to allow users to select an old version when you change anything in l&f department. Chances are somebody going to hate the new stuff. Anyway - the more custom options there is for l&f, the better, right? Different strokes for defferent folks and all..

I really like the new one, so I don't think so.

And I don't really like it. So I'll vote for what Aramir said - an option to turn the old one back would be good.
And he is right generally. Any user interface change should be backed up by an option to turn the old version on. That is just common sense..

But what about skinability?
I don't think that is good idea, and this must not be included in Roadmap too. Only when all others things will be done.
File Management or Design management?

IMHO "File Management taks" are important and not the "Design issues".
Skinability is the most needless thing in the world

And last but not least: The new look ist quite better than the old one.

Don't worry, the skins support is not requested by Servant Salamander users. Instead, there is a huge demand for new functionality.

Good example WinRAR. Application came to ideal, there are nothing to do with GUI and functionallity, in fact. And only now, from 3.5 version, WinRAR got theme support.
