What about the "type-in directory bar"? Why do you miss it?

Do you know about Shift+F7? (Commands > Change Directory)

One less step: Ctrl+v Enter vs Shift+F7 Ctrl+v Enter.
It would be nice to have both; a navigable and editable path
inside a drop-down list. I'll try to find an example.

Do you know you can just press Ctrl+V to change the current directory?
