Altap Salamander 2.5 final is available!
I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for your great work, for endless days (and probably nights) of development and debugging, of dealing with user requests and for continuously optimizing Altap Salamander.
I hope that you will have the economical success you deserve for this outstanding piece of software.
Best wishes
Klettermaxe

Thank you for waiting for the final version!
What we want to do now is release versions 2.51 and 2.52, then install Visual C++ 2005, build 64-bit version and release Salamander 2.53 this year. (Updated
Altap Roadmap)
For version 3.0 we are strongly considering switch to the Unicode (drop Windows 9x support).
It looks like Christian Ghisler (author of Total Commander) has a problem with both Unicode and 64-bit support due to Delphi. It could be a little advantage for Salamander.
Edit: changed version numbers: 2.6 to 2.51, 2.7 to 2.52, and 2.8 to 2.53
Congratulations..

And you even managed to put in the overlay icons for CVS before the release. A great program’s made even better.
Everything the Total Commander can do the Salamander does better, smarter, faster and prettier, so go get the honor you deserve; wipe out the TC!
Best of luck from the number one fan in DK
P.S. The Salamander has been renamed, hasn’t it? It's Altap Salamander now, right?

Yeah yeah, all great!
But the BIG advantage to TC is that we all know how to build plugins for it.
I am a developer and I am full of ideas for plug-ins but without a sample or SDK it's useless.
So, please finish the SDK, SOON!
This is a great product, but it can be so much better when developers can build plug-ins of there own and share it.
