Viewing Torrent files

I use the BitTorrent protocol quite a bit. I would find it very useful if I could see what files were in a torrent, how many pieces are in the torrent, the size of those pieces, etc, without opening the torrent in a torrent program. Currently Salamander uses its text file viewer (or hex viewer) to display torrent files (when I hit [F3]), but I would find it very useful it instead showed a list of the files in the torrent (and their sizes), the number of pieces in the torrent (and their size), the tracker server(s), etc, so that I could see this information before deciding whether to open the torrent or not. The look of the viewer could be similar to that used for MP3 files (the Multimedia Viewer).

Thanks!

Until Altap provides a solution for this or provides the Plugin SDK and someone else provides a plugin, you may want to use a solution borrowed from Total Commander.
There is a lister plugin available to show torrent files: TorrentLister 0.02. The Lister is available as a free standalone executable. It works as a host for the plugin, but even on it's own adds some features missing from salamander's viewer (e.g. Unicode support or word wrap). It can be added as a viewer to Altap Salamander and thus itegrates nearly seamless into Salamander.

BTW, this oppens the door even to all the rest of TC's Lister plugins.

...and here is another (free) viewer that does the same thing.

Here is a direct link to a "few" TC lister plugins that work with it.
