RC3 - lost settings when rebooting

Hi, I have seen this multiple times now, and it is quite annoying - I have rebooted computers, and RC3 says that the settings were lost when it tried to save them, and I need to re-import the settings from RC2. Is this a bug?

Hi, How do you reboot your computer? Using Start menu?
This problem appears when Salamander is terminated while saving configuration to the Registry. Configuration is corrupted and cannot be used.

Yes, I am using the start menu to reboot - or when a software installation asks me to reboot, I do it from there.

I have hoped that this problem has already been fixed, but unfortunatelly it seems that it is still here. What's your operating system version (plus if it is 32-bit or 64-bit version)?
Do you see "Program not responding message" with "End Now" button when shuting down (or restarting) your system with Salamander still running? Are you using "End Now" button (or do you see that system has to terminate Salamander to be able to continue in shuting down system)?

I am using XP SP2 tablet edition.
I will keep my eye open next time I reboot, and see what happens (or doesn't happen) - I don't think I have ended it forcefully through pressing any button.

If by "settings" you mean the "configuration",
which defines the Salamander layout, check
