Could you please test also RC2?
No error message is displayed?
What version of Windows are you using?

a) It works with RC2.
b) There is no error message. Normally mousepointer changes to "+", and you can drop, but in RC3 nothing happend.
You can copy only with context-menu.
c) My Operation-System is WinXP-SP2

I have the exact same configuration (RC3, XP SP2) and copying ZIP files' contents from one pane to another by drag and drop is perfectly working, just as it did with previous versions...

No problems here, too (RC 3, XP Home SP2)

Please try to restart Windows and let me know if the problem is still here. Maybe it can be caused by incorrect version of salamext.dll (in plugins directory). Do you have installed RC3 into the same directory as RC2?

a) I've restart my system an the problem is still there.
b) Yes I've installed RC3 in the same directory.
(Copying "normal" files with drag and drop works, but there appears a contextmenu with "Move here, Copy here, Other... and Cancel" before I can drop the file(s).
Copying files out of a zip-file with drag an drop, nothing happend.)

Are you using confirmation on Drag and Drop operations (see configuration, page Confirmations, Confirm on: Drag and Drop operations)? Or are you using right mouse button for drag&drop?
I expect that copying the same files from archive to target directory using F5 (Copy command) works fine, is it right?
Probably silly question: are you using 32-bit XP? (not 64-bit version)
I still cannot reproduce it here, I'll have to inspect source code.

a ) Ok, I'm using LEFT mouse button for drag and drop and when I turn off "Confirm on Drag and Drop operations" there is no Dialog any more.
b) Using F5 works fine.
c) I'm using 32bit XP.

I have analysed source code but still cannot find the reason why it does not work. We will release final version 2.5 this week. Please test it in final version 2.5 and let me know if it works or not.

Thank you for the information!
We didn't change anything regarding archives from 2.5 RC3, probably some problem on your Windows.
