For some reason, when emailing a file in SS using ctrl+E the Outlook email window size is small and square every time. If I create a new message in Outlook and resize the new email window, Outlook retains this size, except with emailing from SS. I'm using Outlook 2000 on WinXP SP2.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I just looked at source code and there is no variable using which we could affect the window size. We are using Simple MAPI interface: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/200018

We should probably switch to another method.

Thanks for checking into in, Jan. The functionality works fine so there's no need to replace time tested code for a slight UI annoyance.

No such problem here with O2k3 on WInXP SP2.
