regedit.exe works for me

But it's not ideal, certainly. I used to like the old Norton Utilities registry editor, back in Windows9x times. I don't know if it's still bundled with their products or not, but it was basically regedit.exe with favorites and dual panes/comprehensive search results. I'm sure there must be some great freebie registry editors out there.
Please, let us all know if you find something good.

"Search" feature is fine, but how 'bout "Search and replace"?
I know that's inherently dangerous, but so's fiddlin' with registry if you don't know what you're doing.

You are a brave lad!
Search/replace globally in registry (especially for people like me who are fast typers with not so good accuracy) = doom and death

I really like Registrar... the Lite version is free. Nicely designed.
