The I may "reuse" this thread 8)
In former Salamander versions it was possible to remove search results by dragging the entry somewhere in the result list. Since RC1 (AFAIR) you now get this STOP sign instead and the 'feature' is gone. I guess this was not the intended use but I found it quite useful to remove some result which I had checked. Just to get a better overview about the results, esprecially when there where many hits.

Any chance to get a "remove from search results" feature back? Thx!

Moved to new thread, please look at Forum Rules: http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?t=55

Could you please specify how to "remove from search results" in older versions of Salamander? I'm not able to reproduce it (tested on version 2.5 Beta 11).

Do you know the Files > Hide (Ctrl+H) command?

Thx, (Ctrl+H) did the trick! May one could add an button or menu entry to make this more obvious, but I'm happy to have this function back :D

In older versions exactly this "hide" happend when using drag'n'drop in the search results pane.

There already exist the Hide command in Files menu.
We can add a new Hide button to the toolbar.

I'm not able to reproduce the drag&drop Hide in SS 2.5b10 and b11.
