After installing the 2.5 RC2 and then pressing F1 for Help (or using the menu for Help) gives me an Help Error dialog saying "Atempting to use an invalid compiled help (.chm) file". This is awkward, just when i'm curious for the improved documentation.
Can anybody HELP me?

It looks like help files (.CHM files at Servant Salamander 2.5 RC2\help\english directory) are corrupted on your computer.
Try to open salamand.chm from Salamander.
You can test integrity of CHM files using Plugins > Checksum plugin.
Please download this MD5 checksum file:
http://www.altap.cz/salam_en/forum/25rc2help.md5
Copy this file to the Servant Salamander 2.5 RC2\help\english directory and use Verify SFV/MD5 Checksums command.

Ok, i tried and results in the following message: "Cannot open the file: mk:@MSITstore:C:\program Files\Servant Salamander 2.5 RC2\help\english\salamand.chm."
> Copy this file to the Servant Salamander 2.5 RC2\help\english directory and use Verify SFV/MD5 Checksums command.
Ok, i did and the verification said all files, including the salamand.chm, are OK.
I noticed that in the help\engish dir there is also an "salamand.chw" file.
And i noticed that i cannot open any other chm file, even the not SS related files. I think this error is not SS related. But maybe you can help me anyhow?...

Well,...,
i tried some MS tips, downloads and whats more, but nothing MS said helped me.
But then i came across this tip in a forum at
www.helpmij.nl from egkok:
regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 itss
(in the system32 folder)
and registering the itss finally got me further. Now i can see the SS help and docu!
Thanks! (And thanks "egkok".)
