I meet the same problem in SS ver.2.51RC1.
In Windows Explorer I see "squre" symbol in filename in SS is "?" instead of it. And isn't possible to work with this file

You can Quick Rename (F2), View (F3), Delete (Shift+Delete) such file.

Other operations are not supported, please search this forum for UNICODE word.
