After runing Norton utilites on Win XP Servant Salamander will no longer refresh the screen properly such that if I delete a file then it has trouble reading the remaining files (does not seem to know what is and is not then present). I have to change directores in ss then change back to the dir I want to use to force ss to understand what is present.

After a few days thisbroken behavior spontaneoulsy corrects itself and ss starts working correctly. Then after Norton Utilites runs again to clean up my system the probem will appear again.

You can use the Refresh (Ctrl+F9) command (look at Servant Salamander menu Left and Right) to re-read current directory. Does it work for you? Could you reproduce this problem?
