I sometimes have really BIG archives to handle and its annoying to wait till every single pack/unpack process is complete to be able to get on with work in SS.

Why dont you solve it just like the independent copy/move windows instead of the SS-locked-because-of-childwindow-thing?

my solution for now is working in multiple instances of SS if some of them have packing to finish...

...so please keep it in mind for your Roadmap
