I am sorry to remind, but it is the end of October and the new payment gateway promised in April/May/September etc. is not here yet, to say nothing of removing bugs, adding Unicode support etc.
I admit I love Altap Salamander and don't want to change my file manager. I am willing to pay for the upgrade - but only if bugs ARE going to be removed and new features added.
Jan, Petr - please, if you are no longer working on your great program for seom reason, it would still be better for you to say so.

We are also not happy that it takes so long, we are working on it and it is simply more time consuming that we expected. We are not fixing Salamander now because we need to finish purchase web and connected internal purchase database to produce all needed accountancy documents and exports.

We will release version 3.04 which will not show evaluation window till December 1, 2014.

That's not new - it was possible always (but without registraton only for some selected countries).
The developers have promised to add 'New Payment Gateway' since March or April last year.

Well since I'm not affected by this I'm not 100% sure what was on the Purchase page before. However, I have tried to input the country you have in your profile 'Ukraine' and it showed paypal possibility for it. Did you try it out?

I know - but (unless you are in USA/Canada/UK) you have to be registered in PayPal to purchase through it. And it turns out to be more expensive by currency conversion.

But unfortunately I doubt I will be able to buy the upgrade anyway now, as our Ukrainian money now cost 3 times less than a year ago when I was going to pay for the uprgade...

I see. I don't know if that was possible before. The question is what are the developers developing .

Payment gateway is running. For now only CZK currency is supported, we are waiting for EUR approval. We are sorry for the delay.

Hmm, what happened?
I don't see that new payment gateway anymore, and it now says it will be available 'before June 1st' and that 'From June 1st Altap Salamander 3.06 will run in registered mode only when it finds registration keys for version 3.0 '.

But I don't see 3.06 version released?

We are sorry for this delay, we found one problem we didn't know about several days ago. We are using http://www.paymill.com for secure credit card processing, see PCI DSS security standard. From January 1, 2015 the latest version of the PCI DSS 3.0 is required. To support PCI DSS 3.0 we need to comply with SAQ A v3.0 or SAQ A-EP v3.0.

Unfortunately SAQ A-EP 3.0 doesn't look like an option for us, so we need go with SAQ A 3.0. See How does SAQ A-EP compare to SAQ A. The problem we found just a few days ago is: Paymill doesn't offer SAQ A 3.0 solution (SAQ A 2.0 solution is outdated now). They are working on it and it should be available during end of March 2015.

Note you will not know about this problem from their website until you sign all documents, start webshop, find out there is some problem with SAQ 3.0, asking Paymill, asking bank, asking Paymill again

Well, it's the same story repeating itself for more than a year, since April 2014...
It's June 1st 2015 - and no news (nor betas) since February, and no 'new payment gateway' promised sometimes in March 2014!
And trial warning is displayed again.

To say nothing about the authors not responding to bug reports and almost not responding to Unicode requests etc. Is Altap Salamander still alive?!
Wouldn't it be polite to make it free at least for those who had paid for 2.54? As something is not right here.
