This is already a nice step forward: Creating symlinks directly from Salamander Viewing and editing of symlinks is possible using the plugin, yes, but requires a shell script window, so it is not really inside Salamander - having a nice UI and edit dialog would be much more comfortable, e.g. for selecting/searching the mount point or for selecting the desired link type.Petr Solin wrote:...plugin Automation adds command Make Link for creating symlinks. I believe other needed commands can be added too

Re: Hardlinks and Junctions
We have added support for reparse points to Go to Shortcut Target command (Ctrl+T). It reads target path from junctions and symbolic links. Paths from volume mount points are not suitable for displaying in panel. Command was renamed to Go to Shortcut or Link Target. It will be available in prepared version 3.08.
Inaccessible paths from links (including volume mount points) are displayed, so it may help to solve problem with them.

FYI: With this additions, I personally did not really miss any SymLink functionality in Salamander during last year.Petr Solin wrote: ↑01 Dec 2016, 10:57 We have added support for reparse points to Go to Shortcut Target command (Ctrl+T).
