Post by Andre.Ziegler »

Hi,

do you have plans to support the new Windows 7 taskbar features?

Thanks
André

What directories should we put to the jump list? Hot Paths? Collect frequent working directories (see Commands > List of Working Directories)?

There should probably be option to disable Altap Salamander jump list in Options > Configuration > History?

Hi,

thanks for the response. Yes, the hotpaths in Jumplist whould be great, to easily open my favorite paths. And an option to enable/disable it would be great to. Not all people want to same functions.

Also the progressbar while copy/move would be great.

Maybe also the latest used paths. I only wanted to know if you have plans to support it.

Hot Paths would be great! Maybe the whole drive menu (with drives, plugins and Documents shortcut)

Frequent working directories would be nice too (and also available somewhere in Salamander for users without Windows 7) - I cannot praise any more the frequent URL feature in Google Chrome - I don't use bookmarks, because Google Chrome remmembers all of my regularly visited websites and I need to write just a few letters and the whole URL is presented to me - Genius!

this was just a hint. We can later discuss this in detail and make a poll where the people can vote which function they want.

Ideas in this thread would be enough.

*bump*

AS 3.0 (PB75 x64) doesn't include any Win7 functions. Any plans to add them?

Any special win7 functions? Which function do you miss?

I miss most that I don't have the progress bar and the status overlay icon:

Will you ever add those features?
