Hello. instead of using windows explorer I would like to use SS to open folders.
i have tried adding a registry key and values
to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Folder
under shell, open, command
i want to change the existing command: %SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /idlist,%I,%L
to use Salamander.
i have tried using command line parameters "C:\Program Files\Altap Salamander 2.5\salamand.exe" -L %1

also i have tried creating a key under Folder "View" and putting the SS command line into that.
it shows up in windows Edit File Type underneath explore and open, and allows me to make it the default.
but any attempt to click a folder with this configuration, shows me the SS Dialogue box SS command line syntax.
is there a way to substitute Salamander in place of the default windows explorer when routinely opening folders, so that they open in Salamander?
appreciate any guidance you can provide.
