One nice feature that Win 7 introduces are the key combinations Windows-LeftArrow and Window-RightArrow. The key resizes and moves the focused window to the Left (or Right) side of the screen. So if you need to use Explorer to perform copies, these keys can give you the side-by-side directory panels that you see in SS, albeit without the command prompt.

SS is indispensable at work, but I can get by just fine with Explorer at home (on Vista & Win 7).
