Any idea about the date of the next release?
Any idea about the date of the next release?
Hello,
I love AS, but it seems the project is almost dead, so slow is the development process.
On your web site you still announce the plans to make it Vista compatible.
Why don't you give all your loyal users some more information on when to expect a new release?
There is no even a beta version yet.
Please respond.
Thanks!

With all the plugins now finished perhaps we can hope that the release will make it by the end of this year.

We hope so!

Really unbelievable....answer is always the same. I have basically given up on seeing another release and am looking for a replacement. Unfortunately Total Commander is not in the picture.

Re: Any idea about the date of the next release?
I've been using ALTAP salamander for a good many years nows and I dont really want to use anything else but I'm allways frustrated on how long a new release takes to come out
I know its hard work but some kind of release schedule would be nice?
Will there be a new version in the next 3 months?
And you need to speed up release cycles... the last release was in 2010?!
thanks guys for the hard work so far

I'd guess that you get frustrated easily in other areas of life too. Perhaps, it would be beneficial to notice that and explore a possibility to lessen your mood's dependence on what other people do?rollhigh wrote:I've been using ALTAP salamander for a good many years nows and I dont really want to use anything else but I'm allways frustrated on how long a new release takes to come out
More specifically on the topic of Salamander: it works very well already, so whenever the devs are ready to release the new version will be fine with me.

How's the progress fixing the slow data transfer bug? I believe you want to get it fixed first and then release the EAP version.
