Basic understanding

I do apologize. I am having a basic understanding issue. I have read the help files
and this board, even looked for a tutorial on line, and there are none.
(I did check 'include directories to select...' in the options section.)

This is what I would like to do:
1. Select all *.jpg and *.avi files on my c: drive.
2. Copy them to my external hard drive keeping the file structure in tack.
Simple so I thought. I enter the filter and it appears to only search the first sub directory.

Can anyone give me a few tips, ie click here to only select the extensions i want.
Then do this or that to get my task done.

You can select the whole directory structure, invoke Copy and select Only files and Files named (*.jpg;*.avi) in the Options.
