Eroica Viewer Plugin to view CAD files

Seeking a plug in so that I can view cad files .dwg :) etc

? That's what Eroiica Viewer plugin is for.
However, due to licensing restrictions, it doesn't support the latest DWG variants :-(

Any idea when/if restrictions will be lifted.
The dwg viewer's not very useful without current format support.
