Oddity: Copy/Paste from Archive
Just an odd happening.
Open 2 instances of Salamander.
Differing directories in the four windows.
Open an archive.
Copy a file from the archive using Ctrl+C.
Jump to the other instance of Salamander.
Paste the file (Sh+Insert).
Now go back & do it one more time.
(I'm wanting that an overwrite condition <prompt> exists.)
Open that same archive. Copy that same file.
Jump to the other instance. Paste the file.
You will see that on the second Paste operation, the Overwrite confirm dialog (kind of) does not show.
What happens is it must be associated with the open archive & so "focus" (if you will) jumps back to the first instance of Salamander (that has the archive) opened & so it is not readily apparent that there is a dialog, though in fact there is.
Just an oddity.
-------
A bit quicker route ...
Open an archive.
Copy a file using Ctrl+C.
Jump to the other instance of Salamander.
Paste the file (Sh+Insert).
Paste the file (Sh+Insert) again.
