I read comparison of SS with TC here:
Total Commander Alternative
One of Main advantages of Servant Salamander 2.5 over Total Commander 6 is:
- Open and browse Outlook Express DBX archives, save email attachments.
But I am unable to browse DBX files, why?

This plugin is nearly finished, but there are some technical problems (memory leaks). Tomas Kopal will review the source code and we will release it. I hope it will be part of final SS2.5.

Your message brings two good news for me:
1) I am not blind or brain dead
2) There will be OE dbx plugin in the final release, I hope too.
