Copying/moving files on the other side

Post by lbolognini »

Hi all,

I'm suprised i haven't found a shortcut for such a common operation as copying/moving a file from side A to side B

I would expect just to hit the left or right arrow to copy the file and maybe shift + arrow to move it

Wouldn't that be neat? ;-)

Hi, you can use F5 for copying and F6 for moving files/directories.
And I think that using arrows is problematic, because they are reserved for Brief viewing mode.

Please look at Altap Salamander Help, sections Window Components and Using Altap Salamander.

Example: Copying Files and Directories.
