New buttons in bottom toolbar

Post by cincura.net »

Well, new beta is out. The changes are generally known. But what about new buttons in bottom toolbar? The F1-F12 buttons.

Do you like new buttons or old (vote)?

i like these buttons as log as they are small.

Buttons look nice, but I don't remember old style buttons, because don't need in bottom bar at all.

I like their look, I shortly forgot the old. Although I don't use them (I use keyboard mainly), they are very handy when recalling keyboard shortcuts :-)

Don't care. Don't think I used function bar since... what, Norton Commander V4.x? Something like that.

Don't see the point, really. As if I cannot remember keyboard shortcuts for those features.

And if you use auto-hide feature for Wierdows taskbar if you're not verra careful task bar pops up when you go near the bottom of your screen.

Same here. It actually took me a while to figure out what is "bottom toolbar." :)

Yeah the bottom bar is not often used. But it is handy the ALTAP team implemented this. It's basically the same as lookin at the menu or when you forgot the shortcut key you can see it at the bottom right away.

The new button style looks nice to me

I like those little icons especially when I am not sure which keyboard shortcut is for what function.

Yep - that's the point :? My brain is too small and therefore the Icons are necessary :!:
Kind regards, KNUT

Horrible button on taskbar!

Why the hell did they remove the black Salamander and exchange it for an 'all wrong' splashed egg?? It almost has the same color as the one from Outlook!! I always end up selecting the wrong one.
Can I still change that? Do I have to do that again for every new release?
