How do I import a SS configuration exported from running SS on another machine? Where does the config file reside?
thanks,
import SS configuration?
Rename your exported config file (usually config_.reg) to config.reg and place it in your Salamander install folder. Restart Salamander and it will import those settings. Rename it back to config_.reg at this point so that it won't attempt to import it again on each subsequent launching of Salamander.
Alternately, if you're running the same version of Salamander (same beta version), you could just double-click the config_.reg file on the new box and merge it into the registry as it's just a standard .reg file. Make sense?

Re: import SS configuration?
Just rename it to a .reg file and double click it. Windows will ask you to import it. No need to import it everytime you start up SS.Phebas wrote:How do I import a SS configuration exported from running SS on another machine? Where does the config file reside?
