Hi
When can we expect the internal viewer to support unicode (UTF-8 ...).
IMHO, this should be added a long time ago. It's nowadays a very basic feature of a file viewer.
Thanks

Internal Viewer - Unicode support
Re: Internal Viewer - Unicode support
It has long been wanted & still on the Altap Roadmap.
WinXP Pro SP3 or Win7 x86 | SS 2.54
Re: Internal Viewer - Unicode support
.. and that will be in ... 2016 ???
Salamander is more and more getting an "old and behind times" tool. I remember times when it was way ahead of times.
There are many things it's getting behind others like:
- The said Unicode support
- Viewer support for later Office documents (used since Office 2007 !)
- Viewer support for ID3 v2.4 (spec. from 2000 !)
just to name the three I personally suffer must, and these are not new specifications.

Yeah Unicode would really be a nice thing. I have to use Windows Explorer a lot of times because of this and we all know how annoying Explorer is.
