I meant that once you reach the Command Line by CTRL+TAB you can scroll items in the command history by CTRL+ARROW UP/DOWN and/or you can open the list of command history by ALT+ARROW DOWN and then navigate siply by arrows UP/DOWN.

Yeah I am aware of this, I was just asking if it was possible to avoid having to gain focus on the command line first as you would not have to with many other NC clones.
