The "new" office 2010 is a long time on the market and I can't Quickview in these files with F3? Is any support for these files planned?

Alternatively, you could use the free and very capable viewers from SoftMaker: http://www.officeviewers.com/

They can be integrated into Salamander e.g. via the User Bar, or as Viewers for all Office Documents.

Have you tried Office2007.wlx (via tcproxy.spl)? It will show the contents as plain text. Better than nothing.
I guess you could try other Total Command listers as well.

Did it :D The only "missing feature": I can't close these viewers with the ESC-Key. So I'm happy right now ...
