Hi Jan Patera,
i have a few suggestions for you PictView plugin:
1) i miss a slideshow function
to see every x seconds the next picture
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) i miss "auto name and save"-function for the capture tool
I want to press e.g. F10
and PictView should store this shot in an specific folder,
and add a number to an prefix like "BugsReport_" as file name.
BugsReport_001
BugsReport_002
[x] Auto save
in folder [ ] [...]
Name [BugsReport_ ]
[x] add increasing numbers (deselect to overwrite last shot)
as [ jpg |v] [ Settings ]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) nice would be an option "insert picture from clip board"
to crop and save picture captured by [Print]-key as *.jpg.
Edit:
From Salamander you can do this with Ctrl+Shift+B
but this didn't work in the PV window
-----------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) nice would be an option "[x] open picture in associated programm [...]"
---
what do you and others think ?

An interesting idea!AbteriX wrote: 2) i miss "auto name and save"-function for the capture tool
I am sorry - I do not understand the following 2 - are they related to sceen capture?
You can already paste images from clipboard (via toolbar+menu+hotkey in PV, and even directly from Salamander via the Plugins/PictView menu)AbteriX wrote:3) nice would be an option "insert picture from clip board"

Where and when should this be used?AbteriX wrote:4) nice would be an option "[x] open picture in associated programm [...]"
Re: PictView "Auto save" and Slideshow

I am afraid this wouldn't work because a *file* needs to exist to be handed to the app (and then deleted?).AbteriX wrote:...to open an graphic edit programm after the shot ?!

However, I think there has been a kind of request to open the *file* being viewed in the associated application (i.e. like Enter/dbl-click in Salam's panel).
Re: PictView "Auto save" and Slideshow
Just let PV 'temp-save' the *file* as %tmp%\PictViewTemp_001 bevor you call the other appJan Patera wrote:AbteriX wrote:4) nice would be an option "[x] open picture in associated programm [...]"Jan Patera wrote:Where and when should this be used?I am afraid this wouldn't work because a *file* needs to exist to be handed to the app (and then deleted?).AbteriX wrote:...to open an graphic edit programm after the shot ?!
