Adding Columns for Images and Video

Hello -

I have been a happy user of Salamander for many years.

Lately I have been frustrated by unavailable columns in Options > Configuration > Views.

I would like to be able to add columns in Default View:

1. For videos (and audios, for that matter): Duration (ie Length).
2. For videos: Frame Height (ie: 1080, 720, 480) and Width.
3. For images: Pixel Height and Pixel Width.

Obviously, the columns would be blank for other file types, but I'm fine with that.

I have never been much of a Plug-In user, and I am not looking for this as a plug-in. I would like to have it available just like File Name and Size. I do not see a way to do that now.

Custom Columns are planned for future addition. You can probably find more information on it, if you do a search on the forums.

Just FYI - the various custom columns implementations will have to reside in plug-ins. (But the support for them has to be included in the Salamander core, so that's why we can't create such plug-ins yet.)
