Hi,
I use WinMerge (http://winmerge.sourceforge.net/) in my User Menu to compare two files, I use this quite frequently.
I want to select two files, press F9 and select "compare with WinMerge".
What I want is to pass the full filenames of both selected files as arguments to Winmerge, like this:
Arguments: "$(FullName1)" "$(FullName2)"
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Oliver

This would be very nice! And in addition $(FullPathLeft) and $(FullPathRight)...?owilsky wrote:Arguments: "$(FullName1)" "$(FullName2)"

WinMerge in User Menu
I just wanted to request the manner to drive Winmerge in a User menu but
Owilsky already asked for.
So I fully support his request.
Thanks

Hm, I've not sure, which one (fullPathLeft+fullPathRight vs. fullPath+fullPathOther) would be the better choice from the user's POV.
Generally, one just needs the current selected entry's path (-> fullPath). Only in a very few cases (e.g. external file compare), I could imagine to need the selected entry from the other panel (-> fullPathOther).
But especially in this particular case of a file (or directory) compare, it would be fine to keep the left/right orientation. E.g., if a file A.txt is selected on the left panel and B.txt on the right panel, than A.txt should occur on the left and B.txt on the right of the file compare, no matter, which Servant Salamander panel is currently focussed.
