Internal Text Viewer/Editor Request

Post by grymmjack »

It would be great if the viewer/editor could:

Automatically underline and highlight (in a configurable color) any internet links (including http, https, ftp, mailto, nntp, irc, etc) links in a text document, and when we click (or double click depending on configured preference perhaps) launches the explorer association for that protocol.

The viewer need also unicode support for to see e.g. *.reg files.

Yep, I agree. I desperately miss the ability to view Unicode or even UTF8-encoded files.

Absolutely. UTF-8 is more and more popular encoding.
