Here's an obscure problem for you.

On Windows 8, run Salamander 3.0 beta 2 (x64) as Administrator. Then do Commands - Command Shell. The 'SystemDrive' environment variable is not set.

Same problem on Win 2012 Server. It does not seem to occur on Win 7/2008.

I found this because msbuild fails when SystemDrive is missing. Took me a while to find it!

Checked on my Windows 8 with the same setup and my SystemDrive variable is present so it is probably not a general problem with Salamander.
